Today, SMEs in Peru have an increasing presence in the Peruvian market, since their development has been a characteristic phenomenon of the last two decades, this is accompanied by the continuous improvement in the processes of the organizations in order to be able to obtain competitive advantages, a lower cost and incurred times due to the complexity in its business processes. To this fact it is added that the emerging technologies accompany the continuous improvement in the processes, which allows the organizations to obtain great benefits. This use of the technologies in the improvement of the business processes is used mainly by the big organizations, who can solve costs incurred in big projects, the opposite happens with the SMEs, according to a study of Google Peru, only 15% of SMEs Peruvian companies use technological tools in their business processes. The project will focus on construction materials, which, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), covers 17.9% of the total wholesale trading companies in Peru, that is, there are more than 2500 Companies dedicated to this item, which has a high level of complexity in optimizing its times and costs in the sourcing process. The project aims to implement a model of supply processes for SMEs in the field of buying and selling construction materials aligned with the good practices of BPM solutions and logistics management that allows the reduction of costs and times in the Supply Chain Management process. To design the process model, the project uses the EUP methodology and the Zachmann framework limiting it to the level of work required for process improvement in SME companies and including good BPM and logistical control practices. Finally, the project offers a series of guidelines and plans that allow companies that adopt the model to have an adequate operation and continuous improvement of their supply processes.
