In this paper the removal capacity is assessed of three heavy metals such as hexavalent chromium, iron and manganese, this elements found in the discharges of industrial processes and miners through an artificial wetland surface flow by E. crassipes conditions on different ambient temperature. The types of treatment in these cases sometimes require the application of hazardous chemicals which leave residues, this is harmful to the environment, is for it, that is demonstrated by an altemative biological treatment that leaves residues easier to handle and less polluting. The results were treated by statistical tests, t - student test to demonstrate the significance of the experiment as well as requirements the nonnality test applied to data, which lead to quantify the likelihood of achievements.
