This Master thesis project seeks immediate review of the new technologies involved in distributed generation, investigating the extent to which they can make this an attractive concept for electrical industry, the advantages and T disadvantages of their use, reliability and security granted at the supply and potential gaps related to regulatory frameworks and current legislation that may emerge as an obstacle to the promotion and their efficient use, thereby seeking the sustainability of electricity distribution networks.
