The overall objective of this study was to relate: “the risk factors work and occupational health nurses Service Center Surgical Hospital Carlos Alcantara Butterfield -2014“.The study was a quantitative, descriptive method, correlational. The sample population consisted of 20 nurses. As Instrument 1 check list and 1 questionnaire, both validated by expert judges and the calculation of Cronbach's alpha was used for the data collection and survey technique. The processing of data was tabulated in SPSS 20 program and for Hypothesis Testing Chi Square Test, a = 95 % was used. Results: Were the occupational risk factors of nurses they are high risk by 55 %, 35 % medium risk and low risk 10 %. Being in a high percentage psychosocial risk 75 %, ergonomic 70 %, 60 % physical, and 85% chemical and biological 70 %. The deterioration of occupational health nurses occurs in 85% and 15 % isn't presented. Being in a higher percentage in psychosomatic disease 90%, musculoskeletal 90%, hearing disease 85%, respiratory 60% and only 5% to infectious diseases. For the calculation of the relationship between variables in the contingency table it was set, and hypothesis .testing Pearson Chi Square was used; resulting in the X2 Calculated (7.963) Table x2 is higher (5.99) accepting the hypothesis. Conclusions: We conclude that occupational risk factors of nurses are high risk and are present deterioration in occupational health. Thus, there is sign carnet lation ship between occupational risk factors and the deterioration of occupational health nurses Service Center Surgical Hospital Carlos Alcantara Butterfield - 2014.
