The research aimed to: determine the relationship between Personal Factors of Professional Nursing and Quality Records in the Neonatal Intensive Care National Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrion, descriptive study - correlational, quantitative, retrospective, cross-sectional, The sample population consisted of 30 nurses, the instrument used in identifying personal factors was the questionnaire validated by binomial test (p =0.006) and coefficient alpha Cronbach (a = 0.748), to determine the quality of the records he used the format Nursing Department audit. The data processing was performed in SPSS software, to test the hypothesis the Pearson correlation coefficient (p = 0.002) was applied. The results show the presence of internal personal factors: Knowledge of appropriate language and difficulties methodology Nursing Care Process in 46.7% and 40% respectively. Regarding the external personal factors the presence of 86.7% work overload is observed and only 33% considered existing formats applicable. As for the quality of the nursing notes 60% have an average quality level. Concluding that personal factors nurse positively and significantly correlated with the quality of the records.
