Congenital heart disease is damage to both the structures and the functioning of both the heart and the large vessels, which is due to alterations that occur in embryogenesis, and other factors such as maternal and family influence which occur in the third and tenth week of gestation. objective To determine the epidemiological clinical aspects of congenital heart disease in neonates admitted to the neonatology service. Regional Hospital of Loreto "Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias" 2015-2019 Methodology A descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental, retrospective and observational study will be applied. The study population will be made up of neonatal patients with congenital heart disease treated at the Neonatology Service of the Regional Hospital of Loreto during the period between 2015 and 2019. Once the approval of the Academic Work has been obtained, an application will be made for the permission and evaluation of the Research Committee and Ethics Committee of the Regional Hospital of Loreto "Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias"; Primary sources will be used, data from neonates with congenital heart disease will be obtained. Results: When this investigation is carried out Recommendations: -Improve strategies for the timely diagnosis of congenital heart disease. -Plan and carry out similar research studies.
