This research was developed in the Project facilities Teaching and Research Agrostológico Garden located at Km 5800 Highway Iquitos -. Nauta, between the town of Zungarococha - Puerto Almendra, District of San Juan Bautista, Province of Maynas, Department of Loreto, 45 minutes from the city of Iquitos; in order to determine the photosynthetic efficiency and carbon capture sp Pennicetum grass (Taiwan dwarf) in Zungarococha; Design Randomized complete block (RCBD) with four treatments and three replications was used; based on the methodology established by the "International Network of Tropical Pastures Evaluation" (RIEPT) for test "B"; with assessments 3rd, 6.ta, 9th and 12th week after the uniformity cut in plots of 10 m2 area, established in an Ultisol soil, the variables studied in the species respond to the production stage in rainy period and dry period, plant height, green matter production, dry matter production, photosynthetic efficiency and carbon capture having determined .; concluding that the grass dwarf Taiwan shows good percentage of photosynthetic efficiency and carbon capture our condition evaluated under humid tropical Amazonian Zungarococha-Iquitos; that the best treatment under the conditions of the experiment was the T4 (12.ava evaluation week) treatment for variables, photosynthetic efficiency and carbon sequestration.
