The present investigation work was developed in the lands of the I Found Zúngarococha (Garden Agrostologico) - Property of the Ability of Agronomy-UNAP, located in the village from Zúngarococha to 45 minutes in bus of the city of Iquitos, with the objective of evaluating the efficiency fotosintética and reservorio of carbon of the court grass Pennicetum merkeron green var to end up completing the objectives outlined investigation work presently the Design of Complete Blocks was used at random with four (04) treatments and three (03) repetitions, test of DUNCAN, percentage and graphic calculations of bars; the following result was obtained: with respect to the height and green matter the most representative treatment was the T3 (it cuts to the 12ava week) with values of (3,05 m, 11,10 kg/9 ptas.), with respect to the dry matera the T3 (it cuts to the 12ava week) I occupy the first place with 65 g/m2, also respect to the efficiency fotosintética and reservorio of carbon the treatment T1 (it cuts to the 6ta week) I occupy the first place with values of (5,96% and 3,65 t/ha of carbon) in second place the treatment T0 was located (it cuts to the 3era week) with values of (4,675 and 2,81 t/ha of carbon), therefore the general Hypothesis is accepted outlined investigation work presently.
