The objective of this study is to determine the impact of fair trade on development of small producers of organic coffee for export of the Central de Cooperativas Agrarias Cafetaleras COCLA Ltda. N°281 in the province of La Convención - Cusco, in the period 2021, which was analyzed through 2 variables: fair trade and development; being the dimensions of fair trade: quality of life, human rights, environment and fair price, and the dimensions of development: sustainable development, social development and economic development; and 2 theories: the Fairtrade Theory of Change and the Theory of Development. For this purpose, a research with a quantitative approach, descriptive-correlational scope and non-experimentalcross-sectional design was used. The population of this research consisted of 1133 small producer members of organic export coffee with Fairtrade certification of the Central de Cooperativas Agrarias Cafetaleras COCLA Ltda. N°281, from 20 first degree producer organizations of the Lares Valley and La Convención, and a farmers committee of Echarati; of which, the sample was made up of 287 producer members of 12 primary cooperatives. Two research techniques were used: survey and interview; and their corresponding instruments: a structured questionnaire of 45 statements to the 287 producers of organic coffee for export with fair trade certification of COCLA and two semi-structured interview guides to the managers and those responsible for fair trade and the export of coffee beans in COCLA's headquarters. The results of this study concluded the existence of a weak positive impact of fair trade on the development of small producers of organic coffee for export of the Central de Cooperativas Agrarias Cafetaleras COCLA Ltda. N°281 in the province of La Convención - Cusco, in the year 2021, which is supported with the value of 0.008 of the Pearson's Chi-square statistical test, indicating the relationship between development and fair trade; and with a coefficient of 0.235 for Spearman's Rho indicating a low direct relationship between these two variables.
