Human activities produce effects that alter the natural state of the environment that surrounds them. These effects are positives or negatives and they are called environmental impacts. In this context the purpose of this research is to develop an Environmental Impact Assessment based on a prospective scenario which encourages the formulation of prevention and control of environmental impacts related to a 220 Transformation Substation 220/ 60/10 kV of 240 MVA and its associated Transmission Line in the city of Lima. The research design used is of a mixed nature because quantitative and qualitative information was analyzed in an integrated manner. Project information corresponding to the description of the activities included during the construction, operation and maintenance and abandonment stages, geographical location and technical characteristics was collected. Likewise, information was also collected from the environment where the project will be located, by measuring the environmental parameters that will be affected by the activities described and the perception of the population regarding the project was collected, through semi-structured interviews. The information collected was systematized through the software: Word, Excel, GIS Tool, Autocad and Google Earth. For the evaluation of the level of environmental impacts the methodology proposed by Vicente-Conesa Fernández in his work "Methodological Guide for the Evaluation of Environmental Impact" (2010) was applied. Using this methodology, an assessment of the impacts was evaluated qualitatively through an impact identification matrix.
