The present thesis is titled “Analysis and determination of non-accounted water for operational and commercial losses in the drinking water supply system zone III EPS Sedacusco S.A.” The main objective is to analyze and determine the percentage of volume of non-accounted water loss (ANC) of the drinking water supply system of Zone III, in its two components which are: operational losses (visible leaks and non-visible leaks) and commercial losses (micromedition, and clandestine theft). For the development of this investigation, the collection of necessary data was taken to read the flow of income into Zone III, pressure taking within Zone III, for the collection of data on operational water losses, auscultation was initiated in the user registration boxes to locate the leak, then the correlation was developed to detect leaks in the networks, connections and clamps, subsequently, the puncturing of the leaks detected and the respective exposure were carried out, the data on commercial water losses were provided by EPS Sedacusco S.A. in order to determine the volume percentage of Water Not accounted for in Zone III. To conclude the study, the percentage of volume of non-accounted Water (ANC) was determined in the drinking water supply system of Zone III, resulting in 22% of the total volume of water distributed in Zone III.
