The purpose of the present research was the hydrological modeling of the basin of the Singrinacocha lagoon; for this purpose, after having obtained the hydrometeorological data of the stations selected for this study by means of the PISCO product of SENAMHI, an analysis of their consistency and completeness was performed, taking into account the capacities and altitudes for the regionalizations of both precipitation and temperatures. Then we continued with the application, calibration and validation of the flow generation models chosen, determining that the GR2M model achieves a better fit compared to the Lutz Scholz model in this basin; determining that the best application of the latter occurs when there is a much higher registration, reason why the value of the basin flows under study was obtained and corroborating the effectiveness of the hydrological models that were used by the efficiency of Nash Sutclife placing the GR2M model in the “efficient“ range while the “Satisfactory“ range was for the Lutz Scholz hydrological model in a basin with glacial influence like this. the basin of the lagoon Singrinacocha still does not show problems on the operation and use of its water resources, however, this case could change in a few years, if a performance strategy is not implemented to improve the use of water resources in time.
