In the Ausangate Mountain, considered locally as a sacred mountain (Apu), there is the mountain Vinincunca, which is a natural attraction that presents existence of minerals of various colors, reason why it has been denominated like mountain of seven colors or Rainbow Mountain by its denomination in English. In March 2016, the visit to the Vinincunca Mountain began; using the route that starts in the community of Quesiuno, this route allowed to visit this mountain in a single day, the natural attraction that this mountain offered generated an interest of the local operators to offer this excursion without taking into account the security measures, nor previous planning. The objectives of this thesis are to suggest a sustainable development of the resource and that the communities stop being in internal conflicts by the mismanagement of the benefits perceived by the tourism. This thesis is descriptive, since it describes how tourism is developing in Vinincunca and what impacts it is generating.
