Abstract: La investigación etnográfica de El Harawi en la comunidad campesina de
San Pedro de Cumbe – Conchamarca se llevó a cabo basándose en el trabajo de
campo. Con el fin de alcanzar los objetivos propuestos en la investigación, se ha
descrito sistemáticamente esta forma musical ancestral, para así lograr explicar y
describir tanto la trascendencia de harawi, además identificar los instrumentos
musicales empleados en dicha forma musical. También se ha realizado una
recopilación y transcripción de las melodías del harawi de la comunidad campesina
de San Pedro de Cumbe.
La metodología utilizada para el presente trabajo de investigación fue, de
enfoque cualitativo y diseño etnográfico. La técnica usada fue la observación y la
entrevista semiestructurada en lo cual nuestro instrumento fue la guía de
observación y la guía de entrevista. Se ha explicado el estado en el que se
encuentra el harawi, recurriendo a distintas fuentes de información como son las
bibliográficas, hemerográficas y vivenciales. En la etnografía demostramos la
sistematización de la información donde logramos interpretar el simbolismo del
vestuario, el mensaje de la fiesta, así como la difusión, recopilación, transcripción y
análisis de la música. Para las entrevistas, nos apoyaron a cuatro miembros de la
comunidad campesina, todos ellos protagonistas de la fiesta del harawi.
Finalmente, concluimos con la demostración de los objetivos, describiendo
el estado actual en el que se encuentra el harawi, además de explicar los logros
conseguidos al recopilar y transcribir las respectivas melodías.
The ethnographic investigation of the Harawi in the rural community of San Pedro de Cumbe - Conchamarca was carried out based on field work. In order to achieve the objectives proposed in the research, this ancestral musical form has been systematically described in order to explain and describe the transcendence of the harawi, as well as to identify the musical instruments used in this musical form. A compilation and transcription of the harawi melodies of the peasant community of San Pedro de Cumbe has also been carried out. The methodology used for this research work was of qualitative approach and ethnographic design. The technique used was observation and semi-structured interview in which our instrument was the observation guide and the interview guide. The state of the harawi has been explained, using different sources of information such as bibliographic, hemerographic and experiential sources. In the ethnography we demonstrated the systematization of the information where we were able to interpret the symbolism of the costumes, the message of the festival, as well as the diffusion, compilation, transcription and analysis of the music. For the interviews, we were supported by four members of the peasant community, all of them protagonists of the harawi festival, Finally, we conclude with the demonstration of the objectives, describing the current state of the harawi, as well as explaining the achievements of the compilation and transcription of the respective melodies.
