The present research work, entitled: PRODUCTION COSTS AND OPERATIONAL UTILITY OF EDIBLE FUNGI (PLEUROTUS OSTREATUS) IN THE DISTRICT OF CCORCA - CUSCO IN THE PERIOD 2018 ”aims to determine the production costs and operational utility of edible mushrooms (Pleurotus Ostreatus) in the Ccorca - Cusco district in the period 2018. The general hypothesis establishes that the production costs of edible fungi Pleurotus Ostreatus are not established correctly, generating variations in the knowledge of gross profit and therefore real operating profit, so it is necessary to correct these errors and achieve a adequate control of all costs involved. The research is quantitative in approach because it uses data collection to test hypotheses, based on numerical measurement and statistical analysis of the production of edible mushrooms (Pleurotus Ostreatus) in the Ccorca - Cusco district in the period 2018, thus it is also non-experimental in design and descriptive in scope. The research work consists of five chapters: Chapter I, being the description of the problematic reality, formulation of problems, justification and the approach of both general and specific objectives. Chapter II, Theoretical Framework, where concepts related to theories, hypotheses and variables are exposed. Chapter III, Methodological design, includes the methodology used, the techniques for collecting population and sample data. Chapter IV. Results, the results have been obtained through data processing, with the corresponding tables and graphs. Chapter V. Discussion, where theories are compared with the results.
