It is reported a comparative study on the influence of a commercial tomato cultivar with each of seven other plant species used as refuge of beneficial insects (parasitoids, predators, pollinators). The study was done on during the spring/summer seasons of 2016/2017, inside an organic vegetable garden located in the middle of the peruvian coast, with temperatures between 19 and 25 Centigrade degrees and relative air humidity between 66 and 75%. The evaluations were made with a duration of 4:30 hours at weekly; the beneficial insect were taken to the Entomology Museum of the UNALM, to be identified to level of family, genera or species. For the analysis of the information, were used diversity estimators through the Stimates Swin 752 program, as well as alpha and beta diversity index, similarity index, as well as non-parametric statistics Kruskall-Wallis, t student. Inside the results obtained, there were registered 5689 individuals, classified in 130 morphospecies, which belonged to 75 families and nine insect orders; of this results the most representative families and this with greater abundance and diversity corresponds to; parasitoids Braconidae (Chelonus insularis), Ichneumonidae (Campoletis), Scelionidae (Aradophagini) and Tachinidae (Conmatacta variegata); Predators Carabidae (Tetracha carolina chilensis and Blennidus); Coccinellidae (Hippodamia convergens), Berytidae (Metacanthus), Nabidae (Nabis punctipennis) Dolichopodidae (Condylosttylus quadricolor) and Crabronidae (Liris); Pollinators Apidae (Apis mellifera) and Halictidae (Agapostemon). The shelter plants with the greatest diversity of beneficial entomofauna shared with the tomato crop were: Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum), the Cotton Plant (Gossypium barbadense), the Basil Plant (Ocimun basilicum), and the Sunflower Plant (Helianthus annuus) and are those that are recommended to be associated with the organic tomato crop. Inside the most shared parasitoids family were; Tachinidae (Archyta, Lynnaemya comta, Gonia peruviana y Conmatacta variegata), Bombylidae (Hemipenthes), Braconidae (Chelonus insularis, Aphaereta y Praon); predators Carabidae (Blennidus, and Tetracha carolina chilensis).
