Bell pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of the horticultural species that has become an alternative crop for agroexporters on the coast of Peru, who opt for the production of this fruit because of the high levels of profitability and demand due to its derivatives resulting from this raw material. Peru is currently one of the main exporters of peppers to the European Union and the United States. The work experience was carried out in an agro-industrial company, which has two production sites; Trujillo and Cayalti. The varieties to be developed are: Capsicum annuum var. California, Capsicum annuum var. kapia and Capsicum annuum var. Piquillo. To obtain an excellent yield and quality of the product, it must be protected from external agents such as pests and diseases, therefore they are classified according to the level of impact caused in the field, each area has different climatic conditions, pests increase their development according to favorable conditions, however, there are prevention and control strategies to minimize the incidence and therefore the damage to the crop. Comparative graphs of phytosanitary evaluations for the same week of cultivation in Trujillo and Cayaltí show the most important pests and diseases in the bell pepper crop in the 2022- I and 2022-II seasons, taking into account the meteorological variables of each month.
