The maintenance of the green areas of the district of San Miguel - Lima, is a one of the priorities of the municipality, because these contribute directly to the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants, that is why the objective of the present work of professional sufficiency was: Analyze the use and sustainable management of grassy green areas during the pre-Covid-19 and post-Covid-19 stage, for which information on the maintenance of green areas was collected and aspects were analyzed from the social point of view (level of activity, hours of use, frequency of use, capacity, ornamental value and acoustic noise) and economic (irrigation, pruning, carving and fertilizing, chemical fertilization, among others). It was possible to analyze the agronomic management that was applied in the grassy green areas of the district during the pre and post Covid-19 stage, improving the quality of the lawn and making the management of agronomic activities more efficient. From the social point of view, the level of activity which went from 2 to 3, the hours of use of the grassy green area from 10.5 to 18 hours, the frequency of use from medium to very high, the capacity of people per m2 of 3 to 10, it went from a regular ornamental value during the covid-19 to a good one, awareness talks were implemented to reduce the high noise generated by the social activities carried out, going from a high to medium level (from 70 to 60 dB). Likewise, from the economic point of view, the investment in the activities of daily irrigation, pruning, carving and incorporation of organic matter, fertilization, weeding and replanting will be reduced by 14.76% compared to the pre-Covid-19 stag.
