The professional sufficiency work carried out is on the management of waste generated in the productive activities of industrial companies dedicated to the activity of freezing hydrobiological resources of the fishing sector located in the Tumbes Region. For this, information was taken from the Annual Waste Management Declarations (DMRS), Hazardous Waste Manifests (MRSP) and Waste Management Plan (PMRS); and evaluate its compliance with the regulations in force in the years in which the information was presented. An investigation of the current regulations related to waste management and the fishing sector, search and compilation of information on the current situation of waste management in Peru and the definitions that help us interpret the information under study was carried out. The main conclusions were that the companies complied with presenting their DMRS, at some point their MRSP, and their PMRS; however, with some improvement opportunities in the registration of declared information. This can be corrected with training by the competent authorities to the companies in the sectors under their responsibility for the correct completion of the declarations. In relation to the waste generated, hydrobiological waste, paper and cardboard, plastics, metals and hazardous waste; are part of the characterization of their waste.
