Abstract: El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional analizó el trasplante de especies arbóreas de porte bajo y medio a una nueva ubicación durante las obras de construcción del Proyecto Eje del Sistema Eléctrico de Transporte Masivo de Lima y Callao de la Línea 1 tramo Villa El Salvador - Avenida Grau, en los distritos de San Borja y Santiago de Surco, en Lima Metropolitana. En este documento se describen las actividades de acondicionamiento de los árboles antes de ser trasplantados, como la poda de raíces, la formación del cepellón y la poda de la copa del árbol. Así como, las actividades durante la etapa de trasplante como la extracción del árbol, el montaje y carguío de árboles al camión y el traslado del árbol hacia su nueva ubicación. Se indica como es la etapa de cuidado de los árboles trasplantados en su nueva ubicación, que consistió en realizar el riego, el abonamiento y los tratamientos a los árboles trasplantados como podas y controles fitosanitarios, junto con la evaluación final de los árboles en su ubicación final. Además, se describieron las labores de mantenimiento y manejo de las áreas verdes donde fueron trasplantados estos árboles, como instalación de macizos de plantas, su control fitosanitario y el manejo de gras. Los resultados indican que se deben seguir los procedimientos técnicos para obtener en trasplante exitoso de las especies arbóreas.
The present professional proficiency work analyzed the transplant of low and medium sized tree species to a new location during the construction works the Axis Project of the Electric Mass Transportation System of Lima and Callao of the Line 1 section Villa El Salvador - Avenue Grau, in San Borja and Santiago de Surco districts, located in Metropolitan Lima. In this paper, the conditioning activities of the trees before being transplanted are shown, such as root pruning, root ball formation and treetop pruning. As well as, the activities during the transplant stage such as the extraction of the tree, the assembly and loading of trees to the truck and the transfer of the tree to its new location. It is indicated how is the care stage of the transplanted trees in their new location, which consisted of carrying out irrigation, fertilization and treatments to the transplanted trees such as pruning and phytosanitary controls, together with the final evaluation of the trees in their final location. In addition, the maintenance and management tasks of the green areas where these trees were transplanted, such as the installation of plant beds, their phytosanitary control and the management of grass, were described. The results indicate that the technical procedures must be followed to obtain a successful transplant of the tree species.
