The present research work was developed in the Ica valley, district of Santiago, Ica region in order to evaluate the control of Gymnetis merops Ractcliffe through four measures in vine cultivation, cultivar Red globe, from berry growth to harvest, during the months of August to December 2019. In total, 4 plots were evaluated where the first control method was the two-story molasses traps, where a total of 16 traps were made, the second was traps with decomposing fruit ( banana, grape and watermelon), the third was the clean field method where an area of 2.5 hectares was divided into two parts, the first was kept with brush between plant and plant and the second part was placed in the middle of two lines and finally the fourth control method was the use of agrochemical, an application of 30 gr. Typhoon 2.5 PS (Active Ingredient: Chlorpyrifos) between plant and plant. According to the results obtained in the control of larvae, the application of the agrochemical Chlorpyrifos stood out, since after application, no adults and a low presence of larvae were recorded. Another important control method in the capture of adults was that of the decomposing banana trap with a record of 61.26% more than the other decomposing fruits. Finally, the cleaning of the field also influences the decrease in the population of adults and larvae.
