Watermelon cultivation (Citrullus lanatus) is commercially important due to its specific characteristics and how well it adapts to the climatic conditions of our country. Therefore, the increase in producing it has led to a new sector in which the commercial production of hybrid seeds is an appealing market for diverse private companies to produce varietal hybrids under our conditions. This research work aims to define the adequate water resources management carried out to produce commercial hybrid seeds of watermelon under net house conditions as this cultivation has differentiated phenological stages and very marked agronomic tasks during its lifecycle; thus, adequate water resource management is required for each phenological stage. Irrigation was defined according to soil moisture, which is monitored through the reading of data collected by tensiometers installed in the soil. With the information of tensiometers, stress periods were generated in the pollination stage to guarantee the development of seeds in the fruit. The hydric stress generated increases the offer of flower buds to shorten pollination days and obtains a greater volume of throughput of grams per fruit.
