The main objective of this study is to obtain the regulated water supply, 8 proposed reservoirs, and it is not regulated in the Cajamarca river sub-basin until the Jesús Túnel attention station in the upper basin of the Crisnejas River, Cajamarca Province, Department of Cajamarca. To this end, it includes three actions as “first step“, “soil moisture system“ that uses the computer system “Water Assessment and Planning“ (WEAP). As a second action, the forms of the natural vessels should be located in the study area and obtain their characteristics. And finally, with the calibrated hydrological model, series of flows were generated at each point of interest (proposed reservoirs), these flows represent the water that has been sent to each reservoir. In the simulation of the operation of the reservoirs in WEAP, in addition to the information obtained from the model, the operation of the proposed reservoirs is required, and thus a relation of the supply is obtained through continuous iterations with the purpose of obtain a guarantee of approximately 100% volumetric and temporary coverage. As a good approximation has been obtained, it has been demonstrated in the indicators of the efficiency of the data flow, a proposal of 8 reservoirs has been presented that add up to a storage capacity of 90.06Hm3 and of the simulation of the operation of the 8 reservoirs 9.5 m3 / s, higher than many of the average numbers in each sub-basin.
