In the greenhouse of the National University of “San Cristóbal de Huamanga”, in acid soil and clayey texture, a factorial experiment was conducted: 2 and 4 t.ha-1 dolomite (D) for 10,15, 20 t.ha-1 manure (E) with three replications and five additional; in pots of 4 Kg capacity in completely randomized design. Two groups were installed (with and without plants). The evaluation took place in three periods: a) Soil quality; a.1) Physical, structural instability index (Is), soil bulk density (Pa) and the rate of infiltration. a.2) Chemical, organic material, P- available, Ca, Mg, K exchangeable, CIC and pH. a.3) Biologic, biomass and microbial respiration, dry matter (g/pot) of red clover (Trifolium pratense) and English Rye-grass (Lolium perenne). b) Crop health: N, P, K, Ca, Mg, number and weight of nodules. The results of the analysis of variance, tests comparison averages of Tukey and tendency analysis, demonstrate that during the first six months the indicators Is, Pa, decreased linearly to major (E), the basic infiltration, the chemical and biological indicators increased; the plants show imbalance of calcium, magnesium, nitrogen in 10 and 15E-D. The year, it enhances the Ca and Mg in plants, there is a greater number of nodules in 2D, but with less total dry weight. In the soil is decreased the effects of E in its physical characteristics, continuing in the chemical and biological thing, being better the performance in general, using 20E-4D. The roots, catalyze and provoke more clear changes in every one of the evaluated parameters.
