The San Martin titi monkey (Plecturocebus oenanthe) is a peruvian endemic primate at critical risk of extinction. The Huachipa Zoo Park, where part of the present study is carried out, is the only entity that has records of reproduction of this species. The present work determines the nutritional contribution consumed by the diet, thus proposing estimates of nutritional requirements of reproduction in these Neotropical primates. After performing proximal chemical analyzes, it was found that each specimen consumed 151.64g of food daily (14% of its live weight). The nutritional contribution of the consumed is 537.68 Kcal/d of gross energy, 15.46% of protein and 4.03% of gross fat, among other nutrients. This species consumes values close to the bibliographic nutritional requirements and presents a higher consumption of food compared to its live weight, compared with other Neotropical primates.
