Human resources constitute the most important capital in all types of organization, as they are decisive in achieving the objectives set by Senior Management and, due to relationships with the company's internal and external customers, they contribute to obtaining the themselves. Consequently, we must try to understand the effect they have on organizational behavior, individuals, groups, and organizational structure, that is, the work environment, which is constituted by the employee's perception of the characteristics of the organization as they influence in the behavior and attitudes of the workers, reason why the problem arose of knowing to what extent the labor climate influenced the quality of service to the client of the General Archive of the Nation, The objective of this study was to determine the degree of influence of the work environment on the quality of customer service of the AGN through different variables. This reality led me to carry out this observational study of a descriptive-correlational type, having designed an instrument for measuring the working environment at the indicated public institution, based on theories and research on this important topic, for which purpose surveys were carried out on the population of employees of said institution in its four premises located in the city of Lima and a sample of 316 clients of the same. As a result of the investigation, the general hypothesis that the work climate positively influences the quality of service in the AGN was confirmed, using the Spearman's correlation coefficient, which determined a direct high positive correlation. Likewise, for the specific hypotheses of five variables such as physical environment, structural, social environment, personal and organizational behavior, the study confirmed positive correlations for all the variables, ratifying the specific hypotheses proposed. These results gave as a general conclusion that indeed the work environment affects the quality of customer service.
