The objective of the study was to evaluate and identify the critical activities of the Value Chain of the Company Arcasel S.A.C. (2002), Kaplinsky and Morris (2010) and GTZ (2009), 885/which are to map the Value Chain, to disaggregate and detail the most important links in the Chain with the purpose of describing minutely the operation of the activities in a period and with the support of other management tools like the analysis of the Five Forces of Porter, Matrix Boston Consulting Group and the one of FODA; For its development managers, other collaborators, key agents of the company and interest groups were asked to provide information through different techniques such as surveys, secondary documents, observation, direct conversations, group dynamics, among others. The data found reveal that certain main activities and support carried out by the Arcasel Mining Company S.A.C. Operate inefficiently because none of them follow the direction of a solid strategic planning of the company. Among these we can mention: planning, to follow the patterns of the familiar companies and to be nonexistent for the 2015 management; Sales, 100% of the ore is sold to a single customer, who is also its direct competitor; External logistics, which is handled in precarious and unsafe conditions, the valuable mineral is exposed to loss or theft due to its stored condition, which brings a very high economic risk; The production process, goals are drawn based on the experience of the superintendent of mine, the most risky consequence of this is not to supply with sufficient raw ore to the concentrator plant. In conclusion, the main activities critical to planning, sales, external logistics and operations, in that hierarchical order, were the main shortcomings in management in 2015, its high potential for differentiation or its importance for increasing the cost of monetary income
