The present work, includes the agronomic management of the avocado crop cv. Hass in a plantation of the Olmos Project, in the Lambayeque region. The activities required for the establishment of a plantation (476 plants/ha) are detailed: from the selection of rootstocks and phytosanitary treatment in the nursery stage, transplant, management of transplanted rootstocks, grafting in the field, graft management, training and production pruning, irrigation, fertilization, phytosanitary management and harvest. The work has been done with 'Degania 117', 'Tzriffin 99' and 'Fairchild' (West Indian rootstocks) and 'Zutano' (MxG hybrid), 'Hass' avocado scion were grafted onto these rootstocks, carrying out a set of specialized tasks for their management, with the aim of obtaining productive plants in the shortest time. The irrigation system is drip, and the calculation of the irrigation layer is carried out using evapotranspiration (ETo) and Kc. Irrigation is monitored by making pits and with the help of humidity sensors, which provide volumetric humidity data, verifying that they fluctuate within established ranges. Fertigation is practiced, for which a fertilization template is used, making adjustments annually according to the results of foliar analysis, fruit analysis, suction probes and SFR. For phytosanitary control, evaluations of all pests and diseases are carried out, establishing action thresholds to decide the application; The choice of assets depends on the phenological state, the target pest, the destination market, etc. For harvest, dry matter evaluations are carried out, which must be above 21.5%, using the conventional gravimetric method and the NIR.
