This research was based on experience, decision making and the development of a critical analysis of the results and the contributions made to improve the process. Certification is an important mechanism for producers to present quality products to consumers, guaranteeing their application to receptive and non-receptive organic rules, which carry out good agricultural practices in accordance with respect for nature. At the beginning, the baseline was prepared, which indicated that 68% of plots with the presence of pests and diseases, 79% carry out good agricultural practices, 63% with removal of diseased fruits and 58% make use of chemical fertilizers. so the yield was 800 kg/ha. After that, the cocoa production plan oriented towards organic certification was implemented, which considered key activities such as adequate fertilization, weed control, pruning and disease management, equipment and timely supply of inputs for grain production. dry cocoa, post-harvest improvement of cocoa beans, training for producers in environmental awareness, crop management, adaptation of conventional production to organic production and production management
