Abstract: El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar el nivel de satisfacción del usuario
externo en el servicio de Medicina Interna del Hospital Antonio Lorena de Cusco. Estudio de
tipo descriptivo transversal, realizado el 2019 en la Consulta Externa del servicio de
Medicina Interna, utilizándose la metodología SERVQUAL para determinar la satisfacción
percibida por los usuarios externos, se consideraron 374 encuestados. Dentro de los
resultados se encontró que el 80% (300) de los encuestados fueron usuarios directos de la
prestación asistencial, el 68% (251) son personas que no tienen educación superior, la
población femenina abarcó el 55% del total de encuestados y el 72% (271) son personas que
cuenta con el seguro integral de salud (SIS). La satisfacción global se presentó en el 39%
(146) de usuarios, siendo las dimensiones con mayor porcentaje de satisfechos: Seguridad
50%, Empatía 44%, y Capacidad de Respuesta 42% y las dimensiones con menor
satisfacción: Fiabilidad 37% y Aspectos Tangibles 22%. Se concluye que el nivel de
satisfacción percibido por el usuario de medicina interna del Hospital Antonio Lorena es bajo
(39%).
The objective of the investigation was to determine the level of satisfaction of the external user in the Internal Medicine service of the Antonio Lorena Hospital in Cusco. A cross-sectional descriptive study, carried out in 2019 in the Outpatient Clinic of the Internal Medicine service, using SERVQUAL methodology to determine the satisfaction perceived by external users, 374 surveys were considered. The results were 80% (300) of those surveyed were direct users of the assistance service, 68% (251) are people without higher education, the female population comprised 55% of the total number of respondents, and 72% (271) are people with comprehensive health insurance (SIS). Overall satisfaction was shown by 39% (146) of users, with the dimensions with the highest percentage of satisfaction: Security 50%, Empathy 44%, and Responsiveness 42% and the dimensions with the lowest satisfaction: Reliability 37% and Tangible Aspects 22%. It is concluded that he level of satisfaction perceived by the internal medicine user of the Antonio Lorena Hospital is low (39%).
