The Technical Instance of the education sector to which this project refers has a large amount of historical data from its annual learning achievement assessments. However, it does not have a structured, integrated and orderly database warehouse that allows for the optimal use of this information. As a result, it is very time-consuming to respond to requests for information and to generate reports, in addition to the fact that this is a manual process and often leads to errors. For all these reasons, the need arose to incorporate innovative technological solutions, such as the Business Intelligence process. Therefore, the main objective of this project is the implementation of a Datamart for the Analysis area of the Technical Instance, in order to manage information and support decision making. This implementation was carried out using Ralph Kimball's methodology, describing each stage in detail. Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that only free software was used for the implementation of the Datamart, such as Pentaho Data Integration - Kettle (extraction, transformation and loading tool) and MySQL Workbench (database design and management tool). In addition, Microsoft Excel and Power BI tools were used to produce reports. The implementation of Datamart made it possible to automate processes, with the creation of queries for information requests and the generation of reports, thus reducing response times. In addition, all information entered into the Datamart was validated and is now reliable and consistent. Access was also generated for users based on their profiles. Additionally, Dashboards were created for monitoring, analysis and visualization of the main indicators and metrics for accurate decisions making.
