Abstract: Se condujo un experimento con el objetivo de diseñar perfiles alimentarios de vacas doble propósito al pastoreo en pasturas de PanicummaximumJacq., asociado con árboles nativos de Acacia macracanthaen la Unidad Agropecuaria San Antonio, provincia de Jaén, región Cajamarca. La toma de datos y colección de muestras se realizaron en las épocas seca, inicio de lluvias y lluviosa. Se instalaron 14 excluidores en 54 has y se evaluaron 5 vacas adultas en producción (2 a 4 meses de lactación) Brown Swiss x criollo. Las tasas de crecimiento y disponibilidad se obtuvieron mediante el método de corte y separación, ingesta de forraje por el método de comportamiento animal, calidad de la dieta se obtuvo por simulación manual, requerimiento de energía mediante el presupuesto de actividades, perfil alimentario mediante el balance entre la demanda y oferta de forraje y el plan de pastoreo mediante el forraje utilizable y la demanda de forraje. El análisis estadístico fue diseño Completamente al Azar para crecimiento y disponibilidad de forraje, Bloques al Azar para composición química y selectividad de dietas, consumo de forraje y requerimiento energético y Diseño Jerárquico para comportamiento animal. La tasa de crecimiento de forraje osciló entre 8.16, 18.42 y 46.28 kg MS/ha/día; la disponibilidad de forraje osciló entre 2696.9, 4023.3 y 7764.3 kg MS/ha y la ingesta varió entre 11.6, 14.9 y 14.6 kg MS/vaca/día para las épocas seca, inicio de lluvia y lluviosa respectivamente. La concentración de energía metabolizable en el forraje fue 3.94, 7.00 y 5.23 EM MJ/kg MS y la demanda total de energía de las vacas fue 102.0, 92.9 y 90.1 MJ EM/día para las épocas seca, inicio de lluvia y lluviosa respectivamente. El perfil alimentario reveló un excedente en la época lluviosa y un déficit en las épocas seca e inicio de lluvia. El plan de pastoreo realizado para la época seca revela que existen potreros que eventualmente deben ser descansados. Se concluye que la Unidad Agropecuaria, está sub utilizando la pastura especialmente en la época lluviosa debido a la buena disponibilidad forrajera y baja carga animal. En la época seca, los animales no cubren sus necesidades nutricionales debido a la poca disponibilidad y baja calidad forrajera.
An experiment was conducted with the aim of designing food profiles of dual purpose cows grazing on pastures of Panicum maximum Jacq., associated with native trees of Acacia macracanthain Agricultural Unit “San Antonio”, province of Jaén, region of Cajamarca. Data collection and sample collection were performed during the dry, beginning of rain and rainy season. Fourteen exclosureswere installed on 54 hectares and five Brown Swiss x Creole adult cows on production were evaluated. Forage growth rates and availability were obtained by the method of cutting and separation, feed intake by the method of animal behavior, diet quality by manual simulation, energy requirement by the budget of activities, food profile by balancing between forge demand and supply and grazing plan by the usable forage and forage demand. Statistical analysis was a completely randomized design for forage growth and availability, randomized blocks for chemical composition and selectivity of diets, forage intake and energy requirement and hierarchical design for animal behavior. Forage growth rate ranged from 8.16, 18.42 and 46.28 kg DM/ha/day; forage availability ranged from 2696.9, 4023.3 and 7764.3 kg MS/ha and intake ranged from 11.6, 14.9 and 14.6 kg DM/cow/day for dry, rain and beginning of rain season respectively.
