This Engineer’s Degree Essay was developed in the Milk Pilot Plant of «Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina», which has the following processes: Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Storage and Cleaning. This work aims to propose an Occupational Health and Safety Management System, based on the requirements of OHSAS 18001: 2007 in the Pilot Milk Plant of «Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina»; this system proposes additional control measures, which require a low cost investment, generating welfare in the personnel and giving greater support to the plant. To achieve the objectives, a methodology was followed which consisted of a meeting with the Head of the Milk Pilot Plant of the «UNALM», followed by the situational diagnosis in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System to the Pilot Milk Plant of the «UNALM», then Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) matrix were developed for all plant processes and the plant personnel were trained in the OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard and Occupational Health and Safety concepts. As a result of the diagnosis in compliance with OHSAS 18001:2007, Law 29783 and D.S. 005-2012-TR achieved a compliance level of 10,48 percent. In the preparation of the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) matrix in the MPP, a total of 14 hazards with significant risk were obtained. As a result of the training, there was an improvement of 68,30 percent in knowledge of OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). Finally, it was concluded that the Pilot Milk Plant does not comply with all legal requirements in Health and Safety at Work, and with the OHSAS 18001: 2007 standard.
