The present work of professional sufficiency details the experience applied in the technical coordination of the project “Strengthening the forest administration in the Amazon regions of Amazonas, Huánuco, Junín, Loreto, Madre de Dios, Pasco, San Martín and Ucayali“, during the years 2018 and 2019. In this period, an understanding of the national public investment system was achieved, as well as public management; which requires knowledge in planning, such as the formulation of annual operating plans, monitoring tools such as the logical framework, budgets, administrative systems, the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual evaluations; thus specifying a cyclical management system. Likewise, this work demanded extensive knowledge of the forestry sector, whose regulatory and technical framework is extensive, and which in this project includes issues of forest cadastre, zoning and forest management, the execution of forest inventories, the design of forest management units and of wild fauna, the generation of forest information; as well as the strengthening of the control and surveillance capacity of the regions where the project intervenes. Understanding public management, as well as the forestry sector, allowed me to organize the technical and financial resources of the project to ensure its correct implementation during the two years that I was as technical coordinator.
