The present investigation was carried out in order to evaluate the yield and quality of seven cultivars of green bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). The experimente took place at Universidad Nacional Agraria, La Molina, Perú, between the months of November 2017 and February 2018. A completely randomized block design (DBCA) was used with 5 replications. The genetic material that was evaluated consisted of seven cultivars of green bean, six were from the Neaderlands and one was from North American origin, which was the check cultivar (cultivar Jade). The cultivars with the highest yield without significant differences among them were Moonstone, Kennedy and Homerun 8.38 t / ha, 8.18 t / ha and 7.97 t / ha, respectively. Significant differences were found in pod quality, Kennedy and Homerun cultivars having the highest average weights, Jade and Homerun cultivating showed the highest average lengths and Kennedy and Silverado cultivars had the highest average diameters. Finally, the highest percentage of dry matter was observed in Moonstone, Jade, Seagull and Lomani cultivars without significant differences among them.
