Given the notorious growth of blueberry cultivation in our country in terms of surface area, it has also had an impact on the increase of pests and new diseases that are being inserted and adapted to the climatic conditions of Peru, which makes it necessary and important to know the cycle of each pest, favorable climatic conditions, resistant and susceptible varieties, executing an integrated management of pests and diseases in an optimal way that can contain all the necessary tools to prevent the development of these and minimize the risks to human health and the environment. In this sense, the present document aims to expose the key pests and diseases that affect the production of blueberry crop under the conditions of the valley of Huarmey-Ancash, implementing integrated management with different control methods, The population dynamics of pests in the blueberry crop according to the months of the season in the valley, describe the climatic variables of the area to evaluate how it influences the life cycle of blueberry crop pests and detail the specific tasks that are executed in all control methods to counteract blueberry pests. It also mentions action thresholds, evaluation methods, control measures, as well as all the key pests of the crop in addition to the costs of applications for the area in question, executing a constant monitoring plan to keep the population and inoculum level in the fields low. Integrated pest and disease management emphasizes a healthy development of the crop with the least influence on the agroecosystem, considering to ensure production and avoid affecting the quantity and quality of the fruit.
