This qualification work is an applied research, and has been developed in the company Mallqui S.A.C. (fictitious name). This company is dedicated to the production of frozen fruit pulp for export. The main objective was determine the initial position of the company in terms of quality, safety and occupational health, and develop a proposal of improvement focused on the production of frozen fruit pulp under the requirements of the international standards ISO 9001: 2008 and OHSAS 18001: 2007. The method used was the compilation of information within the company for the further implementation of organizational analysis tools. This helped identify the missing elements of the current management to focus on the improvement proposal. As main result we have the company has limited its expansion to new markets because it does not have international certifications that potential customers demand. While his current costumer, the Chilean market, does not require its count with an international certification to make the purchase. This makes the company is also tied to price as their current customers are willing to pay, given the limitations to export their products to new destinations. The improvement proposal's main objective is to lay the groundwork for implementing systems of quality management, occupational health and safety, which translates into an improvement in the competitiveness of the company
