The present investigation was carried out with the objective of determining the biological cycle, behavior and predation capacity of Chrysoperla carnea fed with nymphs III of Planococcus ficus in laboratory conditions of the Universidad Nacional Agraria la Molina. Analyzing the predation capacity and biology of Chrysoperla carnea, under laboratory conditions, having as food source nymphs III of Planococcus ficus. Regarding the biological cycle of Chrysoperla carnea, it had an average duration of 28, 27.7, 29.2 days for each generation respectively. Regarding the incubation period, it was 4 to 5 days, with the average incubation between the three generations being 4.6 days. For the pupal development of the insect, it obtained an average duration of 11.88, 12.76 and 9.20 days for each generation respectively. Regarding the total period of larval development, it was 12.14, 10.02 and 15.04 days average for each generation respectively. Regarding pre-oviposition, oviposition and post oviposition, it is found in a range of 3.17, 36.5 and 6.83 average days, respectively. The oviposition capacity had an average of 315.92 eggs in their entire life, with an average of 8.64 positions per day and, in addition, the viability of the eggs was 95%. Regarding the predation capacity by the larval stage of Chrysoperla carnea, the stage obtained a high number of nymphs III of Planococcus ficus consumed in the three generations, the third larval being the most voracious with 155.52, 140.60 and 183.04 nymphs consumed in the three generations. The longevity of Chrysoperla carnea was duration with a special diet based on pollen, honey, brewer's yeast and water in a ratio 1: 5: 10: 5 respectively, obtaining an average of 33.92 days for males and 52.42 days for females, being themselves with greater longevity.
