The trial was conducted in the experimental plot of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of UNALM. The main objective of the research was to compare and evaluate the effect of fertirrigation on the yield of the potato crop, variety UNICA, under deficit irrigation conditions by partial root drying (RPD) and in conditions of 100% ETo, in two types of provisions of irrigation sides. The nutritional plan was estimated from a projected yield (60 t ha-1) depending on the absorption of nutrients by the crop, the dose being applied by fertigation: 127 kg N ha-1, 237 kg P2O5 ha-1, 235 kg K2O ha-1, 66 kg CaO ha-1, 36 kg MgO ha-1y 29 kg S ha-1. The trial was based on a completely random factorial design of two factors: type of irrigation (T and RP) and type of lateral arrangement (1 and 2); obtaining as a result four treatments (PR1, RP2, T-1 and T-2). The RPD is an irrigation technique by which one zone of the root system remains wet while the other zone is subject to water deficit. In the research, the experimental phase was carried out in two periods: the first, between days 20-29 after sowing (during growth) and the second, between days 76-94 after sowing (during maturity). The evaluated characteristics were the emergence, the height of the plants and the number of stems. With the harvested tubers, the total and commercial yield, as well as the number and size of tubers were evaluated. In post harvest the percentage of dry matter and the extraction of nutrients N, P, K, Mg, Ca and S were determined. The statistical analysis showed that the results of the factors: type of disposal and type of irrigation are significant, and the effects influence the total yield, with the type of irrigation having the highest incidence in the total yield, while the disposition factor had a greater incidence in the commercial yield. The commercial yields reached were 55 t ha-1, 51 t ha-1, 54 t ha-1 and 60 t ha-1 for T-1, RP1, RP2 and T-2, respectively. It is concluded that with the type 2 disposition, better performance behavior is obtained, both for 100% ETo and 50% ETo.
