In Peru, the 'Hass' avocado is the main variety destined for the international market, and a factor that affects the potential growth of its crop is the incidence of pathogens. The objective of this work was to evaluate the efficacy of biological chemical products on the control of two species of wood fungi: Lasiodiplodia theobromae and Lasiodiplodia pseudotheobromae. The trial was carried out in the laboratory of the Diagnosis Clinic and in the avocado plots of the Research and Social Projection Program (PIPS) of Fruit Trees of the UNALM. For the in vitro efficacy test, the poisoned food technique and confrontation test were obtained. The field efficacy test was carried out in a 4-year-old plantation, on branches of 1.5 to 2.5 cm in diameter and a cut was made at the end simulating pruning. 24 hours after the application of the fungicide, the inoculation was carried out and the cut was covered with aluminum foil. Twelve weeks after inoculation, branches were harvested and the area of internal lesions was extended using the ASSESS program. The products fludioxonil, cyprodinil + fludioxonil, tebuconazole and Bacillus subtilis showed effective control in the in vitro test with a PIC of 100% for both species. Fludioxonil and carbendazim excelled in the in vivo efficacy test over the control of L. pseudotheobromae and L. theobromae respectively.
