The objective of the present study was the effect of the inclusion of a protein concentrate (FMR) on pre-starter broiler diets (1 to 10 days of age), on productive response, immunocompetence and energy metabolism up to 21 days. 120 male BB day-old chickens were distributed in 20 experimental groups with 6 chickens each. During the first 10 days, every five experimental groups were fed the following treatments: T1, Diet with corn- soybean meal (control); T2, Diet with 5% fish meal; T3, Diet with 5% of FMR Ω3 ® and T4, Diet with 5.416% of FMR Ω3 ®. From day 11 until the end of the trial (day 21), all birds received the same starter diet; all diets were isoproteic and isoenergetic. The productive indicators evaluated were weight gain, feed consumption, mortality, feed conversion, European efficiency, economic retribution of food, body growth (through allometric growth coefficients), body composition through absolute and relative weight of carcass and breast), immunocompetence (through the morphometric index of Bursa) and energy metabolism (through absolute and relative weight of abdominal fat). The results of the study showed that the dietary treatments did not have significant difference (P> 0.05) between them; like the economic retribution of the food and the index of productive efficiency of the birds in the 21 days of age. In conclusion, the inclusion of FMR in the pre-starter diets in the results obtained from the fish meal in the productive behavior of the meat broilers, during the pre-starter phase and keeping up to 21 days.
