The generation of electricity by wind farms is booming worldwide and Peru follows this trend with a wind potential of 28395 MW, which is evidenced through the applications for environmental certification submitted by the Electrical holders. The environmental assessment of this type of project shows that the areas used to propose the implementation of wind farms are limited; therefore, many wind power plants are close to each other, which will generate at the time of their execution an accumulation and synergy between environmental impacts, among which the main component affected is the biological specifically the birdlife. The analysis has been carried out on the Ica region because it is one of the regions with the greatest wind potential and the highest number of applications for environmental certification submitted. At present, there are few methodologies for assessing synergistic impacts to quantify the impact of a set of wind farms. First, the environmental zoning oriented to the execution of wind farms and its impact on the birdlife was analyzed, based on environmental variables which resulted in zoning based on the environmental sensitivity of areas with wind potential in the Ica region. Subsequently, the impact on the environment of wind farms was evaluated, depending on the density of infrastructures linked to this type of project, such as wind turbines per square kilometer. The synergy of impacts on these areas in the current and future situation was then evaluated, considering the relationship between environmental zoning and environmental impact. Finally, the modification of the environment was evaluated, in order to determinate which areas will be most impacted before the execution of wind projects
