This research was carried out in the laboratory of the Klaus G. Raven Büller Entomology Museum of the La Molina National Agrarian University, La Molina district, Lima, Peru. The biology, morphological description, predation capacity and behavior of Nabis consimilis Reuter 1912, fed Spodoptera eridania eggs under laboratory conditions, were determined, which objective was to determine the biology and predatory capacity of Nabis consimilis Reuter 1912 (Hemiptera: Nabidae) under laboratory conditions. The study began with collections of Spodoptera eridania larvae, which were reared in order to have food for the development of the different parameters evaluated. Next, adults of Nabis consimilis were collected, which were sexed and placed in breeding jars to start the study. Three evaluations were carried out in the months of March, April and May, at a temperature of 23.5°C and RH76.1 percent. The biological cycle of N. consimilis presented a duration of 43.3 days, the incubation period 19.5 days, the duration of the I, II, III, IV and V stages was 4.03; 3.83; 4.16; 4.46 and 6.36 days, respectively. The polar dimension of the egg 1mm. Head width 0.26 mm in the first instar to 0.61mm in the last nymphal stage. Body length from 2.12±0.14 mm in the first instar to 4.67±0.2mm in the fifth instar. The adult had a head width and body length of 0.72±0.02 mm and 6.29±0.18 mm in males, and 0.74±0.01 and 6.94±0.09 mm in females, respectively. both parameters. The predatory capacity of N. consimilis on S. eridania eggs was 3.7; 6.6; 12.4; 13.9 and 16.7 eggs in the nymphal stages I, II, III, IV and V respectively, for the adult stage 25.3 eggs. Copulation time 8'62 “minutes. The pre-oviposition period was 3.7 days, and the oviposition capacity per female was 121.9 eggs. The viability of the eggs 92.5 percent (n=120). The percentage of mortality 28.5 percent, 19.6 percent, 1.8 percent, 0.9 percent and 1.1percent in the nymphal stages I, II, III, IV and V respectively.
