The objective of this monograph is to determine the cost-efficiency threshold for investments in the recovery of the ecosystem service of water regulation in Andean ecosystems in order to know the social profitability of said investments without the need to compare two alternative solutions proposed by the Units. Formulators, 36 of 784 investments registered in the MEF Investment Bank were identified in the 2015-2019 period, representing an investment amount of S/. 303.44 million soles, equivalent to 9.44% of the total investments registered. From the model of the net incremental benefit of the effect with a confidence level of 95%, the lambda values and the minimum and maximum limits were identified using the Bootstrap method for investment in 10,600; 0.69 and 577.25, respectively, were also applied for the main stocks. Based on this, the investment threshold was determined at S/. 13,229.88 per hectare, reforestation in S/. 6,874.78 per hectare, revegetation in S/. 9,764.90 soles per hectare, installation of qochas in S /. 215,328.37 per unit and the implementation of infiltration ditches in S/. 9.34 soles per linear meter.
