The main objective of this research is to settle on the guidelines to draw a tourist circuit based on the prehispanic Andean myth of Vichama, which makes it possible to know the cultural and natural values of the area labeled as Norte Chico (formed by Huaura, Huaral and Barranca provinces in Lima region), showing the efficiency of ecotourism to spread around the cultural heritage and natural patrimony of a town, in addition of its verified effectiveness as a conservation tool. The proposed tour has duration of five days; during which you can visit about 35 tourist attractions. Since the major part of the attractions are hierarchy one (1) (generating local tourist flows) the circuit will be aimed to local people, principally to those who live in Lima city. That way, we can spread cultural values of the region among their own population, waking up the interest for knowing their historical legacy and strengthening their cultural identity, serving in merge the bases which may possible its development
