The morphological variability of the star apple in the San Luis de Shuaro-Chanchamayo area was evaluated in 60 plants considering quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the tree, leaves, fruit and seed, as well as a survey was carried out on the producer in order to know the agronomic management that it provides to the crop and finally an analysis of nematodes was carried out to generally know the population that exists of these in the star apple. In the survey it was known that the evaluator trees were in a range of 5 to 30 years old, with 35% being trees between 20-25 years old, propagation is carried out by seeds, the distance between plants is 6x6 m, control is carried out of weeds on three occasions throughout the campaign, its main pest is the fruit fly, the star apple has two dates of fruit production, the first between September and November, the second between December and January, which is the date of highest production. In the evaluation of trees, it was found that 53% have a diameter between 10-20 cm, 32% have a columnar shape, the leaves measure an average of 20.17 cm long, 6.09 cm wide, with 45% oblique in shape. . , 53% acuminate apex, 60% cuneate base, 57% entire margin, 38% light green in young leaves, 73% green in adult leaves. As for the fruit, it was found that 64% had a weight between 150-300 g, it has measurements of 79.70 mm polar diameter, 68.18 mm equatorial diameter, 2.39 mm shell thickness on average, the fruits evaluated presented 45% between 2 and 3 seeds, measuring 40.73 mm in length on average and 14.20 mm in diameter on average as well, in terms of brix degrees the percentage was around 11.2%. The fruits were 43% round in shape, 29% with acuminate apex and 48% yellow in color. Finally, in the evaluation of nematodes, the presence of Meloidogyne was found in low populations and other natural soil nematodes such as Mononchidos and Dorylaimidos.
