The effect of seaweed extracts in yield and quality of snap beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L) cv. Jade was evaluated. A randomized complete block design was used; experimental area was divided into 24 plots, each plot with an area of 10,5 m2. Five treatments and a check, with 4 replicates, were used. Seaweed extracts used were Agrostemin Phyllum, Fertimar and Ecoalga. Doses used were as recommended by manufacturers. Four applications per treatment were done. Yield (ton/ha), pod diameter (mm) and length (cm) and foliar macronutrients concentration were evaluated. Yield ranged from 5,60 to 9.48 ton/ha where Fertimar had the highest value, however with no statistical differences. Pod diameter and length values were not influenced by any treatment, values were 8,54 mm and 17,12 cm. No statistical differences were observed for pod average weight. Phyllum showed the highest value with 8.61 g. Dry matter content was not affected by any of the treatments; values were 17,64% for leaves, 18,58% for stems and 7,13% for pods. K foliar content in pods showed statistical differences, Agrostemin had the highest K content (2,84%).
