The EACA (Environmental Assessment and Control Agency), within the framework of its functions and with the aim of strengthening the National Environmental Assessment and Control System (SINEFA), seeks greater efficiency and effectiveness in the execution of the environmental control actions planned by the Environmental Control Entities (EFA). To achieve this goal, the OEFA has carried out various tasks, such as training for officials of the national government, regional governments and local governments with competence of environmental supervision and control, in order to train in the new guidelines established for the preparation of the Annual Plans for Environmental Assessment and Control. Likewise, OEFA carries out various activities aimed at facilitating the inclusion of control actions in the Institutional Operational Plans (POI) of the EFA. In this sense, this professional sufficiency work detail the evaluation of the level of inclusion of the environmental control activities programmed in PLANEFA, in the Institutional Operational Plans of each institution, as well as the respective levels of execution. The results of the analysis showed that national-level EFAs included, on average, 4.3% of their environmental control activities in the POI, while regional governments did so by 9.3%. Likewise, the local EFAs of strata A and C have a much higher level of inclusion in the POI, with 21.6% and 28.0%, respectively. In the EFAs of strata B and D, the environmental control activities programmed in PLANEFA were considered in a very low margin in the POI, with 10.2% of the activities for stratum B and 4.0% for stratum D.
