This research evaluates the efficiency of public investment financed with taxes revenues from non renewable natural resources in Peru for the period 2005 -2015. The Free Disposal Hull (FDH), a nonparametric technique, was applied. This technique allows, throug h a Border of Production Possibilities, to develop efficiency indexes given the inputs used and the results obtained. Based on the results, it can be inferred that the relative efficiency improved from the sub -period 2005-2009 to 2010-2015 in general, but it not improved for health and sanitation, electric power and transportation sectors. Furthermore, none of the sectors reached a totally efficient index on average. Finally, those regions that received more resources or taxes revenues such as Cusco, Ancash and Cajamarca; they obtained the four lowest results in comparison with the others regions
