Peru has very degraded grasslands that have passed the threshold abiotic (structure lost, water retention and nutrient availability), therefore, revegetation is needed. The study was executed in the community of Marcapomacocha (Junin), and aimed to assess the effect revegetation with Festuca humilior in order to improve the environmental status by adding and interaction of nutrients and liming on produced biomass and vegetation coverage. Three treatments and control were established: addition of nitrogen, phosphorus and liming, where block design was used with factorial arrangement 4x4 sampling error. Vegetative and productive response of Festuca humilior where analyzed and the best results were achieved with the N + P application in biomass production and vegetable coverage (P <0.05). This confirms the deficiency of the elements mentioned in degraded soils, while the N + P and N + P + Liming applications had a positive effect (P <0.05) on the number of tillers and reproductive capacity improving foliage and seeds productivity . It is concluded that the addition of nutrients is essential for revegetation success; otherwise, the effects of liming are given in long term
